Manila, May 25 /Xinhua/ — Four people died, and 17 are still missing as a result of the collapse of a building on Sunday early morning in the city of Angeles, Pampanga province in northern Philippines. This was reported on Monday by the city fire department.

It is noted that the bodies of three deceased were recovered from under the rubble. Another person, a Malaysian citizen living in a neighboring apart-hotel, died as a result of falling debris.

According to local EMERCOM, at least 26 people were rescued, including 24 extracted from under the rubble, and two others managed to be saved from the apart-hotel. 10 injured were taken to the hospital. –0–
