Beijing, May 25 /Xinhua/ — Three crew members of the piloted spacecraft “Shenzhou-23” on Monday entered the Chinese space station “Tiangong” and met with three members of the previous crew, starting a new round of astronaut rotation in orbit.
According to the data of the China National Space Administration (CNSA), the crew of “Shenzhou-21” on board the “Tiangong” space station opened the hatch on Monday at 5:13 a.m. Beijing time and greeted the new colleague.
Then two crews were photographed to capture the solemn moment of the eighth space meeting in the history of Chinese astronautics.
They will then have to carry out work transfer aboard the space station, CMSA reported. -0-
