Taiyuan, May 23 /Xinhua/ — The group appointed by the National People’s Congress to investigate the causes of the incident has promised to conduct a thorough and strict investigation into the deadly gas explosion at a coal mine in Shanxi Province in northern China.
As a result of the incident that occurred on Friday at the Lushen coal mine in the Qinyuan district of Shanxi province, 82 people died, and nine others are still missing.
