Vegetables and fruits have become noticeably cheaper, and egg prices, after a significant increase in February and March, have decreased but slightly less than usual in April. In addition, services for foreign tourism have become cheaper after a strong price increase in the previous several months.
Many goods, largely dependent on demand, became cheaper or more expensive at moderate rates. Prices fell for smartphones, smartwatches, headphones, and radio and TV products, tools and equipment. The decline in prices continued for electrical goods and other household appliances. Passenger cars became more expensive less than in March.
At the same time, there is a high growth in prices for services. In April, it was noticeably above 4% on an annualized basis. At the same time, food products on average became cheaper over the month, while non-food products moderately increased in price.
