Postgraduate student at the Faculty of Architecture of SPBGASUYuriy Semyonovlaunched a project to develop a specialized information resource dedicated to issues of normative and legal regulation of urban planning activities and scientific research in the field of urban planning theory and practice.
The project is aimed at students, young researchers, teachers, designers, and specialists in the urban planning industry. The main task of the resource is the systematization and prompt dissemination of professional information related to changes in legislation, scientific achievements, and current trends in the field of urban planning.
Materials dedicated to the activities of profile federal authorities, including the Ministry of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Supreme Court, and other departments, are published on the platform. The project authors daily monitor changes in the regulatory and legal framework related to territorial planning, land use, architectural activities, and the development of the urban environment. Each publication is accompanied by a link to an official document.
A separate direction of the project is related to the monitoring of scientific research work. The resource team analyzes publications in specialized scientific journals, including publications listed in the VAK list, as well as architectural and urban planning journals and professional platforms. The materials provide information about the authors of the studies, brief descriptions of scientific works, and links to the original publications.
Special attention is paid to the development of an open professional information space for young specialists. According to the developers, the project was created as a non-commercial initiative aimed at increasing the accessibility of specialized information and forming a unified environment for the exchange of knowledge in the field of urban planning.
Today, the urban planning sector is undergoing active transformation: regulatory requirements are being updated, digital tools for territorial planning are developing, the role of integrated territorial development and sustainable urban environment development is increasing. Under these conditions, operational access to relevant information becomes an important part of the professional training of future architects and urban planners.
The project authors are also engaged in the preparation of thematic digests, the expansion of the list of monitored scientific publications, and the development of channels for disseminating information. The materials are published not only on the website but also on social networks and a Telegram channel, which allows for promptly informing the professional community about new legislative initiatives and scientific publications.
