In May, Polytechnic students took part immediately in several off-site projects of the student union organization. They were organized with the support of the university. The spring holiday in Kholomka and the off-site cultural and educational seminar “Main Thing — Experience” again became an important part of student life. The events combined recreation, development, and active interaction within the university community.
Based on the “PolitEnik” recreation center in Toksovo, an educational seminar “GO” was held, aimed at developing organizational skills among students. Participants from various university institutes worked in teams and independently created full-fledged thematic days: they developed event concepts, handled media support, coordinated the program, and conducted activities for the other participants. This format allows students not only to try themselves in the role of organizers but also to gain practical experience in teamwork, project management, and interaction with the audience.
Chairman of PROF Maxim Susorov noted the importance of such projects for the development of student activism: The seminar “Main thing is Experience” is one of the key events for the activists of our university. It is exactly here that bright, ambitious, promising activists gather, who in the future will lead the student communities of our university and play a key role in its extracurricular activities.
In the educational and historical reserve “Kholomki,” two shifts of spring recreation took place, each bringing together 34 students. The first shift, “HOmely LOvely,” was devoted to the atmosphere of home comfort, lively communication, and joint creativity. The second shift, “HOLO OFFLINE,” offered participants a few days to disconnect from digital noise, enjoy nature, walks, and peaceful relaxation away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Spring vacation in Kholomki has already become a good tradition of the university and the trade union organization. Thanks to the support of the university, students have the opportunity to spend the May holidays in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere at one of the university’s favorite bases — the estate of Prince Gagarin “Kholomki.” Such trips help to recharge, restore strength before exams, and feel like part of a large student community.
Maksim Susorov also emphasized the importance of the student recreation system implemented by the university and the trade union: For several years now, our university has been organizing recreation provided by the trade union for students. Polytechnic supports this tradition and gives students the opportunity to spend time in a light and comfortable atmosphere, to recharge and prepare for exams. This recreation is held for all university students.
Participation in the future all-season recreation can be taken by any student of the Polytechnic. Information about the application process for the shift and educational projects is published in the community of the Trade Union organization and the university. Such events become not only an opportunity to rest, but also a space for new acquaintances, skill development, and involvement in the active student life of the university.
