The delegation of the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade of SPbPU visited the Grozny State Oil Technical University named after Acad. M. D. Millionshchikov (GSOTU). The purpose of the visit was to discuss organizational and educational-methodological issues of student training within the joint master’s program. The development of network interaction is carried out with the support of the “Priority 2030” program within the framework of the educational and personnel direction.

At GGNTU, training is conducted in the field of “Thermal Power Engineering and Heat Engineering.” In September 2025, ten students enrolled in the master’s program in this field. At SPbPU, students begin studying “Enterprise Energy Efficiency Management” in the “Management” program in the third semester. The program is implemented by the Graduate School of Industrial Management IPMEIT.

As a result of successful training, students receive two diplomas from two universities.

During the visit to the Grozny State Oil Technical University, the Polytechnic delegation held several working meetings.

At a meeting with the first vice-rector for educational activities of GGNTU, Ibragim Gayrabekov, and the vice-rector for scientific work of GGNTU, Magomed Saidumov, prospects for cooperation in the implementation of a joint educational program and the execution of research projects on its basis were discussed.

The development of network interaction with one of the leading federal universities is an important direction of cooperation for our university. The joint network program in energy, combining technical and managerial competencies, will allow the training of highly qualified specialists who will implement advanced solutions in the field of energy efficiency at enterprises in the Chechen Republic and contribute to the sustainable economic growth of the region,” emphasized Ibragim Gayrabekov at the meeting.

During meetings with employees and students of GGNTU, representatives of Politeka discussed in detail the implementation of network educational practices and conducted a presentation of the program “Enterprise Energy Efficiency Management” for interested 4th-year bachelor’s students of GGNTU’s technical training directions.

To strengthen the practice-oriented approach of the network educational program, the delegation of SPbPU discussed the possibility of concluding an agreement on practical training of students with the energy supply company “Chechenenergo,” which performs the functions of the largest guaranteed electricity supplier in the territory of the Chechen Republic. Special attention at the meeting was paid to the role of such joint programs for the development of human resources potential of the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation.

The creation and implementation of a mechanism for integrating educational resources and competencies of two universities allows to expand the professional qualifications of students through the synthesis of engineering, managerial, and economic competencies with a pronounced industry specialization, as well as to increase the practice-oriented nature and quality of education. Therefore, the educational project implemented by the Higher School of Industrial Management is important for the training of highly qualified and competitive graduates in the labor market of the Chechen Republic,” summed up the results of the working visit of the lecturers, the director of the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade Vladimir Shchepinin.

Following the visit to the Grozny State Oil Technical University, prospects for further development of joint educational programs in the form of network interaction and the possibilities of implementing joint scientific research projects were determined.

The participation of our university in spatial development through the mechanism of network interaction is a significant and priority task. The development and implementation of a network interaction model between two universities based on a double degree program, combining engineering training in thermal power engineering and managerial training in energy efficiency, will contribute to solving the country’s technological leadership tasks by preparing young specialists-engineers and managers for industrial enterprises of the region, capable of solving technical and managerial tasks in a specific industry,” commented the results received by the Vice-Rector for Educational Activities of SPbPU, Lyudmila Pankova.
