Beijing, May 18 /Xinhua/ — China and Mongolia will conduct joint military exercises “Steppe Partner-2026” in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia in northern China from the last decade of May to the first decade of June, announced official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the PRC Xian Bin on Monday.
Speaking at the press conference, Cijan Bin noted that in the upcoming exercises efforts will be focused on the development of a joint operation to combat illegal armed formations.
The upcoming joint training will be the second of its kind, aimed at deepening friendship and mutual trust, strengthening practical cooperation, and enhancing the capabilities of both sides for jointly maintaining regional peace and stability, said Ciyan Bin.
