Beijing, May 18 /Xinhua/ — The unemployment rate based on sample survey data in cities and urban-type settlements in China in April 2026 was 5.2%, which is 0.2 percentage points lower than in the previous month, according to data released on Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
