The government has allocated 1.8 billion rubles for road repairs following floods in several regions

1.8 billion rubles will be allocated to the Zabaykalsky Krai, Omsk, and Orenburg regions for the restoration of roads damaged as a result of floods in 2022–2024. The order on this was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

Funds allocated as necessary for the creation and restoration of the normative condition of road infrastructure of regional, intermunicipal, and local significance. They allow the continuation of work to eliminate the consequences of natural emergencies.

Speaking about the decision made onMeeting of the Government on May 14, Mikhail Mishustin noted that transport infrastructure has a great impact on the economy, comfort, and safety of citizens. Its operation and condition require constant attention.

“I ask the Ministry of Transport to timely provide funding and control the road repairs so that they comply with all regulatory requirements,” added the head of the Cabinet.
