Aden/Yemen, May 16 (Sinhua) — Six people died, and 19 others were injured as a result of a collision between a passenger bus and a truck in Hadramaut Province in southeastern Yemen. This was reported on Saturday by local pro-government Emergency Forces.
The collision occurred late Friday evening on the Al-Abr international highway, connecting Yemen with neighboring Saudi Arabia.
Medical teams were sent to the scene, who provided emergency assistance to the victims. Later, the injured were transferred to medical institutions for further treatment.
The Yemeni Minister of Transport, Mossen al-Amri, announced the creation of an investigative commission to determine the circumstances of the accident and to conduct the necessary legal procedures.
