Representatives of the State University of Management joined the Youth Council under the Expert Council at the Government of the Russian Federation and participated in its educational program.
GUU in the Youth Council are represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Logistics and Transport-Technological Systems Aleksey Akulov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Logistics and Transport-Technological Systems Maksim Pletnyov, as well as Acting Director of the Business Accelerator, Head of the “Service Training” program Veronika Balandina.
The Youth Council unites more than 80 young professionals, representatives of the scientific community of the largest federal universities and the business environment. It was formed in March 2026 as one of the directions of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation.
One of the first events for the council members was an educational seminar “Methods of Modern Analytics.” It was conducted by Vladimir Komarov, Head of the Expertise and Planning Department of the Government of the Russian Federation. Participants considered modern analytical approaches applied in the preparation of expert materials, elaboration of management cases, and the formation of practical proposals.
During the seminar, members of the Youth Council worked in teams and practiced skills that they will use in their future expert activities. This format allowed a transition from theory to practical tasks related to preparing solutions for public administration.
As previously noted by the Deputy Head of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation Anastasia Permyakova at the inaugural meeting of the Youth Council, the key emphasis in working with young experts will be placed on elaborating specific managerial tasks and preparing practice-oriented proposals that can be used in the activities of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The participation of GUU representatives in the Youth Council gives the university the opportunity to engage in the discussion of current management decisions and to develop expert, project, and analytical work of young specialists.
