A first-year graduate student at the National University of Public Administration Nguyen Thi Hai An became a finalist of the international competition-practicum for young humanitarians “Challenges of Multipolarity.”
In 2026, the competition united young researchers from different countries and gathered more than 880 applications from all over the world. Only 35 participants made it to the final, successfully passing several selection stages.
The selection took place from December 2025 to March 2026. Participants completed online testing, prepared video presentations, attended educational lectures, and solved research cases in an international team. As a result of these stages, Nguyen Ti and Hai An became one of the top finalists of the competition.
The final program took place from April 27 to 29, 2026, at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The competition included five fields: political science, law, history, sociology, and economics.
Nguyen Tri Hai Anh represented the economic direction. As part of the team, she participated in the discussion of research tasks, proposed solutions, and actively engaged in professional discussions.
As part of the final, participants visited leading Russian organizations and venues: the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research, the Russian State Library, and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The meeting with members of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation was of special importance for the GUR aspirant. Nguyen Thi Hai An asked questions to the experts and showed interest in the “Good News” project, aimed at supporting a positive public agenda.
The “Challenges of Multipolarity” competition was organized by the Center for International Interaction and Cooperation with the support of the Gorchakov Fund. Participation in the final became an important professional experience for the GUU representative, allowing her to apply research skills within an international team, expand expert contacts, and discuss current issues of multipolar world development.
Nguyen Tri Hai An has already repeatedly represented the State University of Management at Russian and international forums.
