Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University on its 105th anniversary.
“The University was one of the first to start training engineering personnel for Russia’s light industry — your graduates have always been renowned for a high level of training and engaged in the production of high-quality, in-demand products. And today they contribute to achieving Russia’s technological leadership — a national goal set by our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
He added that the university carefully preserves traditions while simultaneously implementing modern, relevant directions at the intersection of technology, design, and art.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Kosygin Russian State Geological Prospecting University is developing its own engineering base. Last year, the university became a member of the council of key scientific and educational organizations of the state corporation “Rosatom” within the framework of cooperation between science and business industry.
Dmitry Chernyshenko wished the university team strong health, creative success, and new achievements for the benefit of Russia.
