Abu Dhabi, May 14 /Xinhua/ — The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday denied reports about the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the country.
The statement of the MID OAE on the social network X notes that the country’s relations with Israel are developing within the framework of the well-known Abraham Accords, and not based on secret agreements.
The Ministry added that any claims about an undeclared visit or unofficial deal are unfounded if they have not been officially announced by the relevant authorities of the OAE.
The department also called on the media to verify information and refrain from spreading unconfirmed messages or using them for political speculation.
