Moscow, May 13 /Xin Hua/ — The risk of importation and spread of the SARS virus in the Eurasian region is minimal. This was reported on Wednesday by the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of the Russian Federation (Rospotrebnadzor) on its official channel on the social network “Max”.
“Rospotrebnadzor informed about the minimal risk of importation and spread of this disease in the territory of the countries of the Eurasian region,” the message says.
Such a conclusion was announced by Rospotrebnadzor at the 42nd meeting of the Council of Heads of Authorized Bodies in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare of the Population of the States-Members of the Eurasian Economic Union, held on May 12 under the chairmanship of the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova. –0–
