Moscow, May 13 /TASS/ — Russia is ready to increase supplies of energy resources to the countries of the Global South, contributing to energy security. This was reported on Wednesday by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
On Wednesday in Moscow, a meeting took place between the co-chairs of the Russian-Indonesian working group on cooperation in the energy sector — Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Roman Marshavin and Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia Juliot Tanjung.
At the meeting, R. Marshavin confirmed Russia’s readiness to increase deliveries to the countries of the Global South in order to promote energy security.
“Russia is ready to supply energy resources to places where there is a stable long-term demand, and to those countries that build constructive business relations with us,” he stated.
