The Moscow Museum of Modern Art invites you to the lecture “Capital with a Soul: Traditions of Patronage and Charity in Moscow.” It will take place as part of the “Night at the Museum” event.

Guests will learn that for many Moscow families, such as the Tretyakovs, Mamontovs, and Morozovs, philanthropy was not just one of the hobbies, but an important part of managing capital and creating social status.

Alexey Loboda, an expert from the Moscow Center for Financial Literacy, will explain how patronage turned into a Moscow tradition, where financial success went hand in hand with responsibility before the city.
