Beijing, May 9 /Xin Hua/ — In April 2026, the total volume of China’s goods imports and exports expressed in yuan increased by 14.2 percent compared to the same period last year, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) of the PRC reported on Saturday.
The total value volume of imports and exports of goods reached 4.38 trillion yuan / about 639.4 billion US dollars / last month, according to data.
In particular, exports grew by 9.8% year-on-year to 2.48 trillion yuan, while imports increased by 20.6% to 1.9 trillion yuan.
In the first four months of the current year, the total volume of China’s foreign trade in goods reached 16.23 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.9% year-on-year. -0-
