On May 15, 2026, at 10:00, a university-wide community work day will take place at the State University of Management. This is not just a cleanup of the territory, but a common cause for everyone who cares about what the university space will be like every day.

The initiators of the event were representatives of the student youth — participants of the federal program “Training with Service.”

The community cleanup will take place as part of the Project Day events and will bring together students, pre-university trainees, university staff, and representatives of HSE partner organizations. Participants will tidy up the university grounds: clean public spaces, paint fences and road barriers, and take care of flower beds and lawns.

The event is held in the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and is aimed at achieving the national development goal “Ecological Well-being.” The community workday also supports values important to the university: responsible attitude towards the environment, respect for collective labor, and care for the place where we study, work, and spend a significant part of our lives.

The partners of the cleanup event are Rosmolodezh, the All-Russian Nature Conservation Society, and the All-Russian Ecological Youth Movement “Ecosystem”.

For HSE, a community work day is not just cleaning the territory. It is a return to a university tradition that helps one feel part of a common cause. Each participant will be able to make a personal contribution to creating a comfortable and favorable environment for study, leisure, and work.

The gathering of participants will take place on May 15 at 10:00 on the central square of GUE.
