Gaza, May 7 /Sina/ — Azzam al-Kheya, the son of one of the HAMAS leaders Khalil al-Kheya, died on Thursday from wounds after an Israeli airstrike. This was reported by Sina Palestinian medical sources.
According to sources, Azzam al-Kheya died from critical injuries sustained on Wednesday as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a gathering of Palestinians in the center of Gaza. He was undergoing treatment at the Baptist hospital “Al-Ali” in Gaza, where doctors confirmed his death on Thursday morning.
Israeli military sources confirmed on Wednesday evening that the Israeli army struck Azzam al-Hayeh. He became the fourth son of Khalil al-Hayeh, killed in Israeli operations in recent years.
After the death of his son, Khalil al-Hayya stated that this strike is “a continuation of the widespread aggression against our people.” He accused Israel of attempting to pressure Palestinian negotiators through military escalation. –0–
