Moscow, 2026 — The city’s transport complex traditionally participates in events dedicated to Victory Day. This year, a set of commemorative and thematic activities has been prepared for passengers in the Moscow Metro and other urban transport facilities.

In honor of the holiday, employees of Moscow transport will be given more than 8,000 St. George ribbons — one of the main symbols of Victory. They can be obtained at the “Live Communication” stand in the metro, at the Northern and Southern river stations, as well as at the street parking and special parking of the “Moscow parking” and at a separate route of surface urban transport.

Special attention is given to the design of the infrastructure. The “Trubnaya” station has already been decorated for Victory Day for the third time in a row: the ceiling vault is decorated with St. George ribbons and decorative elements dedicated to the memorable date. The thematic design creates a festive atmosphere for passengers and reminds them of the significance of the historical event.

In addition, a thematic train dedicated to Victory Day has been launched on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. Its design is done in orange-red and light blue tones, symbolizing courage and the unity of the people. The carriages contain thematic elements and phrases dedicated to the Great Victory. The train will operate on the line until June 22.

“The capital’s transport complex annually participates in Victory Day events. This year, our employees will distribute St. George ribbons at various transport infrastructure facilities. We also continue the tradition of decorating stations and launching themed trains to preserve the memory of our people’s feat and create a special atmosphere for passengers,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for Transport and Industry, Maksim Liksutov.

During the period of holiday events, security in urban transport will be strengthened. Passengers are asked to understand the additional control measures, be attentive, and follow the rules for using transport.
