During the May Day holidays in the Kanbashi district of Ordos city, Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia, on the shore of Lake Ulanmulun, the “troika of the city” is presented—a show of drones, fireworks, and musical fountains dedicated to the workers.
Drones were the first to rise into the sky, forming inscriptions and patterns: “The Radiance of Labor Glory,” “No Youth Without Passion,” and others. Then the sky was illuminated by fireworks in the form of multicolored clouds. To the melody of “For the Applause of Inner Mongolia,” musical fountains danced, intertwining light and water curtains.
Tourist Hou Qin, specially arrived from Shandong province, said that he was amazed by this “Ordos troika.” He called Ordos a wonderful place with hospitable people and worthy of a visit. The event against the backdrop of the night sky demonstrated the vibrant energy of Kanbashi and added a festive mood to the May Day holidays.
