Moscow, May 5 /Xin Hua/ — In Moscow and the Moscow region, during the preparation and holding of festive events from May 5 to 9, the operation of mobile internet and SMS will be restricted. This was warned by the “Big Four” mobile operators /MTS, “MegaFon”, “Beeline”, T2/ in an SMS mailing.
“In order to ensure security measures in Moscow, temporary restrictions on the operation of mobile internet and SMS are possible during the period of preparation and conduct of festive events from May 5 to May 9,” it was said in the statement of “Beeline”.
MTS noted that during the restriction of mobile internet “there may be difficulties with cashless payments, the use of ATMs and geoservices.”
