Armenia and the United Kingdom have signed a declaration on strategic partnership

Yerevan, May 4 /Xinhuanet/ — Prime Ministers of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the United Kingdom Keir Starmer signed on Monday a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries. This was reported by the press service of the head of the Armenian government.

At a meeting held on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, N. Pashinyan particularly noted the fact that the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom visited independent Armenia for the first time in history. The Armenian Prime Minister expressed confidence that the current visit will give a powerful impetus to the strengthening and comprehensive development of bilateral relations.

K. Starmer thanked for the warm reception and impeccable organization of the summit. He emphasized the importance of expanding multifaceted cooperation with Armenia.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on bilateral and regional agenda issues.
