President Vladimir Putin announced the start of the all-Russian online voting for improvement projects at the III All-Russian Municipal Forum “Small Motherland – the Strength of Russia” on April 21. Russians over 14 years old can determine which public areas — parks, embankments, squares, pedestrian streets — will be renewed in 2027 as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin reported.
“This year, the all-Russian online voting for beautification projects shows high dynamics – more than 6.5 million votes were collected in two weeks. The most active participants today are residents of Saint Petersburg with 423.6 thousand votes, the Republic of Bashkortostan – 376.2 thousand, and Sverdlovsk Oblast – 354.4 thousand. The mechanism, launched in 2021, has proven its effectiveness and demand in five years. If 9.7 million votes were collected in the first year, by 2025 it will be 16.6 million. In total, about 8.5 thousand territories have been landscaped across the country during the all-Russian voting, selected by citizens themselves.””The voting will be extended until June 12, so I urge everyone to participate in this important, socially beneficial initiative,” said Marat Khusnullin.
In the current year, 1,979 municipalities and 29.9 thousand territories are participating in the voting. It is proposed to select 6,794 improvement objects.
Residents of not only cities but also settlements with a population of 20,000 or more, as well as key settlements, can participate in the voting. According to the national development goals and key indicators of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” by 2030 the quality of the urban environment in key settlements should improve by 30%, and by 2036—by 60%.

We have a lot of work ahead – within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” it is necessary to improve another 30 thousand territories across the country and implement 1.6 thousand.projects – winners of the All-Russian competition of the best projects for a comfortable urban environment. This dialogue between society and the state, which was built in part thanks to voting, will contribute to achieving these goals,” said the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin.
It is possible to evaluate and choose improvement objects on the unified digital platform zagorodsreda.gosuslugi.ru, through the mobile application “Gosuslugi. We Decide Together”, with the help of a chat-bot in Max, as well as through volunteer support based on the “Dobro.RF” ecosystem. By 2025, almost 170 thousand volunteers helped more than half of the participants to vote.
