On April 30, at SPbGASU, as part of the BIMAK-2026 business program, the project defense of the teams participating in the third annual competition “All-Russian TIM Championship SPbGASU. SPO League 2026” took place.
The championship became one of the key educational events timed to the conference, uniting college students from all over Russia, who for two weeks—from April 13 to 29—worked on complex projects using information modeling technologies.
Geography of participants
Teams from various regions of the country participated in the championship:
• Bashkir College of Architecture, Construction, and Municipal Economy;
• Saint Petersburg Architectural and Construction College;
• Smolensk Academy of Urban Planning and Architecture;
• Academy of Urban Environment Management, Urban Planning, and Printing;
• Belgorod Construction College;
• Bryansk Construction College named after Professor N. E. Zhukovsky;
• College of modern technologies;
• Perm Construction College;
• Rostov-on-Don construction college;
• Interregional Competence Center – Technicum named after S. P. Korolev;
• Novgorod Construction College.
Comprehensive projects and practical experience
Within the framework of team defense, projects of multi-apartment residential buildings developed using information modeling (BIM) technologies were presented. Participants demonstrated the full design cycle — from the architectural concept to design solutions and estimate documentation. Contestants learn to interact within project teams and make engineering decisions.
Projects included:
• the development of planning and architectural solutions;
• elaboration of structural schemes;
• modeling of engineering systems;
• formation of digital models of buildings;
• model collision testing;
• calculation of construction costs.
Partner Support
The championship is held with the support of leading industry associations:
- NOPRIZ — National Association of Surveyors and Designers
- NOSTROY — National Association of Builders
The general partner of the championship became the SRO Association “OsnovaProekt”, actively supporting the implementation of information modeling technologies and the development of the industry’s human resources potential.
Support from such organizations allows participants to work with current tasks, close to real practice, and also to focus on the requirements of the modern construction market.
