At the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the results of the 2026 Construction Week were summed up — one of the brightest and most eventful events of the academic year. Thanks to the high activity of the student council of the Faculty of Construction, the program of events turned out to be truly large-scale and diverse.
During the week, students were able not only to deepen their knowledge of their future profession but also to get acquainted with the real practices of the construction industry. Industry partners of the university played an important role in this: the companies “TITAN-2”, Setl Group, “FSK Sever-Zapad”, Future BIM, as well as the Northwestern Directorate of Rostekhnadzor.
One of the key directions was offsite events. Within the framework of the construction week, four excursions were held to construction sites, including the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant (LNPP) and residential development sites in St. Petersburg. Such trips allowed students to see the real construction processes and appreciate the scale of modern projects.
Meetings with industry representatives have also become significant. HR directors and specialists in training and development from leading companies told students about internship and practical training opportunities, gave recommendations on resume writing and interview expectations. Project managers, labor protection specialists, and the Future BIM team presented current industry trends, paying special attention to digitalization and the introduction of modern technologies.
Particular interest was aroused by the speech of representatives of the Northwestern Directorate of Rostekhnadzor, who not only shared professional experience but also invited students to join their team.
In addition to the educational program, the construction week included entertainment events. The student council organized interactive games on the balustrade and held an educational quiz, which became an excellent opportunity to test knowledge and spend time in an informal setting.
The organizers express their gratitude to the student council, the deputy dean for educational workAnne Tsarenko, and also for the teachers of the department of the faculty of construction for active participation and support.
The 2026 Construction Week has been successfully completed, but work continues: new meetings, projects, and opportunities for professional growth await the students of SPBGASU.
