The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announced the start of applications for the XI All-Russian competition of scientific research works for students and graduate students. This is an opportunity to present your work, receive an independent evaluation, and reach a new level in the scientific community.
Students and graduate students of Russian universities and research organizations are invited to participate — regardless of the form of education. The age of participants is up to 35 years. The competition is open to everyone engaged in fundamental, applied, or exploratory research and ready to present the results of their work to the professional community.
Over ten years, the competition has gathered around 30,000 participants. Only last year, representatives from 438 universities and research organizations took part, including participants from 20 countries. This year, an even broader geography and increased interest from young researchers is expected.
The works will undergo an independent examination with the participation of leading scientists, including recipients of megagrants. As a result of the selection, the best participants will advance to the final, which will take place in September within the framework of the XI All-Russian Youth Scientific Forum “Science of the Future — Science of the Young.”
Competition deadlines:
— application acceptance: until May 15, 2026
— qualifying stage: until July 30, 2026
— final: September 22-25, 2026

The competition is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. Its goal is to support young researchers, develop scientific connections, and help turn ideas into real projects.
