Today, April 29, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of the Russian Federation to the employees of PJSC “KAMAZ.” The award ceremony, held at the Kazan Kremlin, was timed to coincide with the celebration of May 1 and Victory Day.
Awarded the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” III degree is the deputy director for external relations of NP “KAMAZ-Autosport,” honored sports master of Russia Aidar Belyaev. He began working at “KAMAZ” in 1991 as a design engineer in the department of the specialized technology Scientific and Technical Center. Almost from the very beginning of his professional activity, he was engaged in the preparation of KAMAZ trucks for international rally, and was at the origins of creating the sports team “KAMAZ-master”.Since 1996, Aidar Belyaev has served as the navigator of the combat crew “KAMAZ-master” and has demonstrated his high skill in navigation. He is the winner and prize-winner of Russian and international competitions, winner of the World Cup in rally marathons, three-time winner of the Dakar rally marathon, and two-time winner of the international rally “Silk Way.”
The honorary title “Honored Machine Builder of the Russian Federation” was awarded to the engine tester of the engine testing center of the engine plant of PJSC “KAMAZ”, Sergey Ilyushin. He has been working at the enterprise since 1987, and today his activity is associated with conducting reliability tests of engines and component products. Since 2019, Sergey Ilyushin has been actively involved in the production of R6 series engines.
The honorary title “Honored Metallurgist of the Russian Federation” was also awarded to the mold assembler of foundry shop No. 1 of the non-ferrous casting production at the foundry plant “KAMAZ”, Ildus Makulov. He began his career at the plant in 1984 as a locksmith-instrument maker, then transferred to the position of mold assembler. He made a significant contribution to the establishment and development of the foundry shop.
