Beijing, April 29 /Xin Hua/ — On Wednesday, a meeting took place in Beijing between the Vice Chairman of the NPC, Han Zheng, and the Chairwoman of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock.
At the meeting, Han Zheng assured that China is ready to use the implementation of the Global Governance Initiative as an opportunity for deepening cooperation with the UN, providing support to the UN General Assembly in adhering to the principles of genuine multilateralism, as well as for the joint protection of peace and security worldwide and promoting development and prosperity.
A. Burbok in turn noted that China is a key partner of the UN and an important pillar for the implementation of multilateralism. She gave a high appraisal to an important initiative put forth by China and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation with China for the revival of multilateralism and joint assistance to the global community and development. -0-
