Beijing, April 29 /Xinhua/ — According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, during the upcoming May Day period, 11,409 flights are scheduled at Beijing’s international airports “Shoudu” and “Daxing,” which is 4.32 percent more in annual terms.

In particular, it is expected that the international airport “Chowdu” will serve 6,160 flights, and the international airport “Dasing” — 5,249 flights.

It is expected that during the holiday season, “Sheremetyevo” airport will serve more than 1.02 million passengers. The airport administration stated that it is operationally engaging auxiliary resources and personnel to ensure uninterrupted passenger service amid a sharp increase in demand. -0-
