On April 25, employees of Gazprom-Media Holding and its companies took part in an ecological clean-up day in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. The cleanup location was the Biryulyovo Dendropark — a picturesque corner in the south of the capital, where this summer it is planned to create a historic “Imperial Garden.”

Volunteers carefully cleared the area with rakes of silt and last year’s leaves. The work of the Holding’s employees became the foundation for future plantings: on the cleared land, cabbage, root crops, and other vegetables traditional for the imperial kitchen of the 18th century will appear this season.

The main reward for diligent work was a tour with the opportunity to admire the blooming of the local sakura. In the Biryulyovo arboretum grows a unique variety of cherry, which at the peak of spring turns the alleys into a real Japanese canvas.

The Saturday volunteer cleanup day became a vivid example of corporate social responsibility and brought together colleagues who wished to do a good deed for the environment.

The event was held with the support of the resource center “Mosvolonter.” “Gazprom-Media Holding” and “Mosvolonter” signed a cooperation and interaction agreement in December 2023. The event took place as part of the corporate social responsibility program of the PRO_Uchastie holding.

Moscow volunteers receive special points for participating in such events depending on the number of hours spent in mutual aid actions. Thanks to the integration of the “Mosvolonter” platform and DOBRO.RF, volunteers have the opportunity to store information about their overall experience not only in paper form but also electronically.
