London, April 28 /Xin Hua/ — The Parliament of the United Kingdom will not conduct an investigation regarding the Prime Minister of the country, Keir Starmer, who is alleged to have misled deputies about the candidacy of the former British Ambassador to the USA Peter Mandelson. The corresponding decision was made on Tuesday after a vote in the House of Commons.

Members of parliament, with 335 votes against and 223 in favor, rejected the Conservative Party’s initiative for the Committee on Privileges of the House of Commons to conduct an investigation concerning K. Starmer. –0–
