A delegation from the state unitary enterprise “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg” visited Politse. The delegation included the company’s General Director Sergey Volkov, First Deputy General Director Maxim Lukyanchuk, and Personnel Management Director Irina Yashchenko.
The key event was a meeting with the leadership of SPbPU: Vice-Rector for Educational Activities Lyudmila Pankova, Vice-Rector for Organizational and Economic Work Stanislav Vladimirov, and Director of the Engineering and Construction Institute Marina Petrochenko. At the meeting, they discussed the implementation of educational programs at ISI with the participation of GUP “Vodokanal of St. Petersburg,” practical training of SPbPU students, and prospects for developing corporate educational programs jointly with the enterprise.
In the research corpus of SPbPU within the framework of the “Your Word!” project, a meeting was held between students and staff of the university with the general director of GUIP “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg” Sergey Volkov. The event began with a welcoming speech by the director of the Engineering and Construction Institute Marina Petrochenko. In his speech, Sergey Volkov highlighted the activities of one of the key city services, as well as discussed the problems faced by modern urban infrastructure, career opportunities, and professional development of young specialists.After the speech, according to the tradition of the “Your Word!” project, Sergey Volkov was presented with a commemorative gift from SPbPU, after which he left his signature on a T-shirt that will be kept at the university as a memory of the event.
An important part of the program was visiting the Engineering and Construction Institute and holding a business meeting attended by the delegation of GUP “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg,” ISI director Marina Petrochenko, deputy director of ISI Maxim Tere, professor of the Higher School of Hydraulic and Energy Construction Natalya Politaeva, Aleksandr Bolshev and Lyudmila Molodkina, associate professors of VShGiES Olga Ermak, Aleksandr Chusov, Vita Belousova, Tatyana Koryakovtseva, and Maria Andrianova, senior lecturer of VShGiDS Yanis Olenovich, as well as the head of the scientific research laboratory “Technologies of purificationindustrial and storm sewer wastewater” Viktor Chechevichkin.
Participants of the meeting discussed directions for cooperation in the field of scientific research, a plan for collaboration and implementation of activities within the framework of the roadmap, including the allocation of target places for the State Unitary Enterprise “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg,” organization of excursions to industrial enterprises and practical training for ISI students. Following the meeting, representatives of the university and the enterprise agreed on the development of a long-term partnership.
At the conclusion of the program for representatives of GUP “Vodokanal of Saint Petersburg,” a tour of the laboratories of the Engineering and Construction Institute was organized, including a visit to the laboratories of the “Metacampus Polite” project, the educational laboratory of engineering ecology and monitoring, as well as the hydraulic laboratory.
