Moscow, April 24 /Xin Hua/ — Iran has considered exemptions for a number of countries, including Russia, regarding the collection of transit fees through the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported to RIA Novosti on Friday by the Iranian Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali.
“At the moment, we have provided for exceptions for some countries, what will happen in the future — I do not know. However, at the moment, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs is trying to activate the exceptions provided for friendly countries, for example, Russia,” the spokesperson said, responding to the relevant question.
