Guangdong, April 23 /Xinhua/ — On Thursday, 88 thousand seedlings of the orchid Phalaenopsis Aphrodite were sent from Wenyuan County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province (South China) to Russia, marking the first independent export of seedlings of this type of ornamental plant from the specified Chinese county to Russia.
Before this, in February of this year, Wènyuān County successfully carried out the first independent export of Phalaenopsis Aphrodite seedlings to the Special Administrative Region of the PRC Xianggang.
