An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

On April 25 and 26, 2026, charity days will be held on the stock and derivatives market of the Moscow Exchange to help the residents of Dagestan affected by the aftermath of the flood.

The exchange commission fee received for the trading period on April 25 and 26 from operations with stock market instruments and futures will be directed to a humanitarian fund for the restoration of the region’s infrastructure, as well as for providing food, medicines, and temporary housing to those affected.

Viktor Zhidkov, Chairman of the Board of the Moscow Exchange:

“In these, every investor will possibly have the opportunity to do a good deed by concluding deals on the Moscow Exchange. We will direct the entire commission income from the stock and derivatives markets to help the residents of Dagestan. We invite you to join the campaign – together we can make a real contribution to a common cause.”

Information about the amount of funds collected will be availableon the Moscow Exchange website. Any client of the stock or derivatives markets can participate in the charity event through their broker’s application.

Charity Days – a project of the Moscow Exchange, whose goal is to unite the financial community to help those in need.

The first charity day took place in 2025: the Moscow Exchange’s urgent market directed the entire commission from transactions with index futures and options concluded on June 2 to the construction of a site for children with cancer.

In February 2026, as part of a charity campaign in support of World Cancer Day, the urgent market of the Moscow Exchange transferred the full amount of exchange commission from transactions with all futures and options concluded on February 4 to charitable causes. The funds raised, amounting to 48.7 million rubles, were directed to help adults with oncological diseases and their relatives throughout Russia.

The participants of the Moscow Exchange charity days amounted to 119 thousand clients of the derivatives market in total.

Charitable activities are one of the important directions for implementing the principles of sustainable development. The exchange traditionally cooperates with a number of charitable foundations, thereby ensuring transparency and efficiency in the distribution of funds and simultaneously increasing the number of end beneficiaries. In 2025, 111.9 million rubles were allocated to charitable projects.
