Beijing, April 23 /Xinhua/ — In the first quarter of 2026, anti-corruption measures in China led to the punishment of 56 officials at provincial and ministerial levels, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the State Supervisory Commission reported on Thursday.
According to the quarterly report published by the aforementioned departments, these individuals amounted to a total of 183 thousand people who were subjected to punishment across the country in the first quarter of this year.
From January to March of this year, disciplinary inspection and supervision authorities across the country initiated 245 thousand corresponding cases. -0-
