On April 18, at the Center for Information Technologies of the State University of Management, the ceremonial opening of the Arabic language course for beginners took place.
With a welcoming word, the Vice-Rector of HSE Dmitry Bryukhanov spoke, who noted the importance of studying the Arabic language in the context of expanding international activities.
Director of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “Arab Dream,” Dr. Sama’a Bashir, conducted a master class on learning the Arabic alphabet and reminded that the best students at the end of the course will be able to go on an internship to Arab countries.
The course instructor became Mariam Abu Daya, a native speaker from Lebanon with rich teaching experience.
After the official part, two groups of trainees proceeded to the first lesson. The introductory lesson was dedicated to the Arabic alphabet, correct reading, writing letters in different positions, and basic greetings.
Let us remind you that in January 2026, GUE and ANO “Arabian Dream” concluded an agreement on cooperation and the opening of a Center for the Study of the Arabic Language at GUE.
