The admissions campaign starts in RUDN on June 20. This year, the university has not only increased the number of budget places but also opened new promising programs. Let’s figure out the deadlines for submitting documents, various quotas and benefits available to applicants.
When to submit documents?
To not miss anything, pay attention to the main dates of the admission campaign. The deadlines depend on whether you are applying for a budget place or a paid department, as well as on the form of entrance examinations. Some programs have additional tests. Their results are taken into account together with the Unified State Exam (USE) scores during the competitive selection. For example, a drawing task in the “Architecture” program.
Start of document acceptance: 20 June 2026.
For those enrolling on a budget:Â
- On the directions where there are internal tests or a creative competition, the completion of document submission —10 July.
- For applications only according to the USE results — completion of document submission25 July(until 17:00 MSK).
- Publication of competitive lists —27 July. • Application deadline for enrollment —until August 5.
- Orders on enrollment —until August 7.
For applicants to paid places:
- To directions where there are internal trials or a creative contest, the acceptance of documents is completed —August 10.
- For admissions, only based on the results of the USE — completion of document submissionAugust 18.
- Publication of competitive lists —20 August.
- Term of contract conclusion and payment —until August 24.Â
- Enrollment orders —until August 28.
Who can take the internal exams instead of the Unified State Exam (USE)?
The right to take internal introductory tests in RUDN is held by:
- College graduates (SPO) by major profile;
- persons with higher education;
- Citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan;
- Foreign citizens;
- people with limited health capabilities.
How to submit documents?
You can submit documents in a way that is convenient for you:
- OnlineThrough the “Gosuslugi” portal
- Personallyto the admissions committee of RUDN
- By mail, having sent the registered letter with the inventory of contents
Do not forget to prepare:
- passport;
- document about education (certificate or diploma);
- CNSILS (if available);
- documents confirming benefits or individual achievements.
Individual achievements
Don’t forget that to receive additional points for admission to the budget, the following will help you:
- Certificate/diploma with honors (secondary education or initial vocational education): +10 points;
- Winner of the RUDN Olympiad diploma: +8 points;
- Diploma of the RUADN Olympiad winner, prize places at the All-Russian School Olympiad or Olympiad by the Ministry of Education and Science list, victory/prize places at other major competitions and projects (for example, “Big Change”, “Abilympics”, “CASE-IN”, etc.): +5 points;
- GTO badge: +3 points;
- prize places in city competitions, olympiads, and sports championship events, including GTO, volunteer activities: +3 points.
Scores are summed, but the maximum is 10. Achievements must be obtained in grades 10–11 and confirmed with documentation.
Special quotas
Among the budget-funded places, there are two special categories. This isspecial quotaA separate competition upon admission for special categories of citizens: children with disabilities, disabled persons of groups I and II, orphans and children left without parental care, disabled persons from childhood, veterans of combat operations.
The second category —separate quota. This is a benefit that applies upon admission to the budget for a separate competition for the allocated places, the number of which is at least 10% of the control figures of admissions. It is available to participants and children of participants of military operations, Heroes of the Russian Federation, recipients of three Orders of Courage, children of servicemen who participated in combat actions abroad. The number of places under both quotas will be announced later.
Besides this, there istarget quota. To study it, you need to find a customer — that is, an employer for whom you will be obligated to work for a certain period of time. A list of available offers from customers in the RUDN will appear no earlier than June on the “Work in Russia” portal in the section“Targeted training”. Quota documents will be acceptedfrom June 20 to July 25, 2026.
More budget places and new programs
In 2026, the number of budget-funded places for bachelor’s and specialist’s degree programs will be increased to1,647. This is 12 places more than last year. The leader in budget admissions was the Engineering Academy (453 places), in second place—the Faculty of Physical-Mathematical and Natural Sciences (244 places), and closing the top three was the Agro-Technical Institute (168 places).
The university is opening new programs that have already sparked interest among applicants. Among them:
- “Screenwriter for film and television”(Philological Faculty) — a program for those who dream of creating content for large screens and streaming.
- “Design of industrial and social facilities”(Engineering Academy) — training of architect-designers proficient in advanced digital tools (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max).
- “Architectural and Urban Planning Design”(Engineering Academy) — the program focuses on the design of buildings, planning of settlements, and restoration, using modern digital technologies.
- “Business Standardization”(Agrarian-Technological Institute) — students have practical training beginning from the first year and internships at leading enterprises and research institutes of Moscow and regions, as well as real projects commissioned by partner companies, already underway during their studies.
- “Speech Therapy and Inclusive Education”(Institute of Comparative Educational Policy) — here they will study how to work not only with speech disorders, but also to help adults recover after strokes and injuries.

Mathematics (Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences)
Mathematics at RUDN is not an abstract theory, but a powerful tool for solving real problems. Specialists capable of working at the intersection of sciences are trained here.
- What will they teach:Students master the solution of complex differential equations, optimization methods, mathematical modeling in economics and computational hydrodynamics. Specializations available for upper-level courses range from mathematical analysis to nonlinear optimization.
- Career:Graduates are in demand in the IT sector, analytical centers, financial organizations, and scientific research institutes. The ability to build mathematical models opens doors to any high-tech industry.
Applied Informatics (Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences)
This is one of the most promising specialties, shaping experts at the intersection of IT and business management.
- What they will teach:The program provides fundamental training in the field of programming, databases, and information system architectures (IS). Students study web programming, econometrics, IS design, information security, as well as management accounting. A bachelor’s degree equips students with skills in service and system management, understanding both economics and technology.
- Career:Graduates work as developers, analysts, IT project managers, and ICT service leaders in companies of any level. These are specialists who can organize turnkey enterprise automation.
Ecology and nature management (institute of ecology)
In conditions of global attention to sustainable development, this program prepares specialists of the new generation.
- Why teach: The program combines Earth sciences, biology, chemistry, and sociology. Starting from the first courses, students immerse themselves in the basics of natural resource management, conduct research in the laboratories of the Russian Academy of Sciences and in production. The main focus is on the rational use of resources with minimal impact on the environment.
- Career: graduates work in executive authorities, nature protection structures, project organizations, national parks and reserves. Specialists in the field of ecology are now in demand at large industrial enterprises and in consulting.
Benefits, points, and possibilities
RUDN actively supports the participation of schoolchildren in the country’s most prestigious olympiads, such as the All-Russian Schoolchildren’s Olympiad (VSOSH) and olympiads from the Ministry of Education and Science List (RSOSH).
The status of the winner or prize-winner of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad grants the right to enroll on a budget place in any field of study or specialty at a Russian university regardless of the profile of the Olympiad.
The status of a winner or prize-winner of an olympiad, included in the list of the Ministry of Education and Science (RSOSH), allows admission on a budget basis without entrance examinations or with a full score of 100 points in the chosen field of study or specialty, depending on the level of the olympiad and the chosen specialty.
For applicants who scored300 points of the USE(excluding individual achievements), a scholarship payment is provided in the amount of600,000 rubles for the first year of study. In addition, they can simultaneously learn for free using the “Translator” program.
Also for those who pass the exams and receive individual achievements261–270 points, available discount20%for the first year of training under the contract, for271–280 pointsdiscount will be30%.
