Beijing, April 21 /Xin Hua/ — The Chinese side calls on more enterprises with American capital, including GE HealthCare, to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China and utilize the opportunities provided by its huge market and high-quality development. This was stated on Tuesday by Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Qiang.
He Lifeng, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made a corresponding statement during a meeting with Peter Arduini, President and CEO of GE HealthCare.
The Vice Premier of the State Council noted that China’s economy has taken a good start this year, demonstrating high stability and viability.
As Ha Lifeng indicated, during the implementation period of the 15th Five-Year Plan /2026-2030/, the CPC will steadily expand high-level openness and continue to cultivate a first-class business environment.
P. Arduini, in turn, stated that GE HealthCare is fully confident in its long-term development in China, intends to further deepen its presence in the Chinese market, and is ready to contribute to promoting trade and economic cooperation between the USA and China.
