Bulares, April 21 /Xin Hua/ — Prime Minister of Ruminia Ilie Bolojan from the National Liberal Party (NLP) stated on Monday that he will not resign, after the main party of the ruling coalition — the Social Democratic Party (SDP) — announced the cessation of its support for him.
After a closed meeting of the NFP, the second largest party in the ruling coalition, I. Bolozhan published a statement on social media in which he said that he would continue to fulfill his duties as prime minister to ensure government stability.
I. Bolozhan also criticized the SDP for “participating in decision-making while cowardly shirking responsibility for these decisions.”
Key leaders of the NHP stated that the party will continue to support I. Bolozhan.
In response, the SDP warned that if I. Bolozhan remains in his post, it will recall all its ministers from the government. At the same time, the party is also considering the possibility of a vote of no confidence in the current government, in order to force it to resign.
Members of the SDP expressed dissatisfaction with I. Bolozhan’s economic policy, believing that the government failed to effectively stimulate the economy. –0–
