On April 20, 2026, the Moscow Exchange successfully completed the annual audit of the financial indicators calculated by the exchange in terms of compliance with the principles of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

The results of the audit confirm a high level of transparency, independence, and reliability of the methodology for calculating the Moscow Exchange indices, which provides investors with confidence in the quality of the benchmarks used and contributes to the further development of the Russian financial market. The Moscow Exchange consistently confirms compliance with the IOSCO principles since 2015.

Moscow Exchange is the largest administrator of financial indicators in Russia. Currently, approximately 400 indicators are calculated, including stock indices, bond indices, currency fixings, pension asset indices, money market indicators, commodity indices, as well as the yield curve of zero-coupon government bonds.

The IOSCO Principles for Financial Benchmarks were first published in July 2013 to create a comprehensive system of principles for creating and maintaining financial market benchmarks, including governance, quality, and transparency of calculated indicators.
