The “Management and PR in the Art Industry” program of the HSE School of Design, created on the initiative of the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art, has opened enrollment for the third cohort.

The additional professional education program establishes the professional standard and helps students outline professional boundaries in the field of art management or PR. It is aimed at specialists with at least one year of experience in project management and communications, who seek to develop their careers in contemporary art and implement large-scale projects.

The program is divided into two profiles: Art Management and Modern communications in the art industry. Regardless of the chosen direction, students study art history and theory, master basic professional tools and practices, and most importantly — work with real cases from leading institutions.
Students interact directly with active professionals from partner institutions (VK, MMOMA, Mosproducer, Association of Galleries, Zotov, and others), develop the quality of their work and personal skills, build a relevant portfolio, and receive job offers even before completing the program.

The second edition of the program concluded in May 2026. Graduates of the program work on various projects in the field of culture and art; many receive job offers during their studies, participate in major projects and fairs, and some institutional cases are taken into implementation.

Sofya Trotsenko, academic supervisor of the educational profile Art management and founder of Winzavod CSI: “Andindustryrapidly is changing and demanding increasingly higher quality in project execution, as it competes with a large number of creative fields: theater, music, design. On the other hand, the art industry is expanding towards these areas, and now specialists, to be successful, must also be oriented in them. We provide this opportunity, and the task of each program participant is to take advantage of it and engage in the educational process, as this is a real chance to enter the industry and remain in it.”

In addition to basic knowledge in contemporary art, the program provides an important sense of inclusion in the professional community, forms a clear career track for graduates, and lays a deep understanding of the industry as a whole.

Integration into the field is achieved not only through direct contact with experts but also through regular guided tours of fairs, exhibitions, and vernissages, which radically changes the perception of the profession.

“Communications are becoming more valuable than gold due to the acute shortage of specialists. Institutions are ready to invest time, money, and resources to develop the new generation of professionals, and we are no exception. This is one of the most dynamic professions, requiring navigation through a vast array of tools, being quick, intellectually independent, and flexible. Without experience, a knowledgeable mentor, and guidance, it is almost impossible to progress quickly without making serious mistakes. This program is your personal mentor in communications, making your journey less risky for your career, mental health, and future.“, — Irina Saminskaya, academic supervisor of the educational profile Modern communications in the art industry.
