More than 725 million rubles will be additionally allocated from the Cabinet’s reserve fund to support the preferential lending program for farmers. This order was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

The allocated funds will allow preserving the preferential interest rate on 185 previously issued loans for the production and processing of agricultural products. Financing was provided both for short terms and within the framework of long-term investments. Such support for farmers is provided under the state program for agricultural development.

Mikhail Mishustin announced the allocation of additional funding for these purposes at the Government meeting on October 29.

“We expect that such decisions will contribute to enhancing the resilience of agricultural enterprises and help them continue supplying consumers with quality food products,” said the head of the cabinet.
