Creating a modern educational and scientific infrastructure is one of the most important directions of the work of Russia’s construction sector. New spaces for training engineering personnel and conducting breakthrough research are shaping the country’s technological sovereignty, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“By the order of President Vladimir Putin, a large-scale program is being implemented in Russia to create a network of university campuses. The NIU MGSU project is in an active phase: as of today, the construction readiness of the educational and scientific cluster facilities has reached 75%. I note that this is a flagship university of the construction industry, which trains specialists to solve national-scale tasks. The initiative to create a world-class campus based at the university was supported by President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Today, we see high dynamics of work: facade works are being completed on blocks “A” and “B” with a total area of about 70 thousand square meters, finishing and landscaping of the territory are actively underway. Advanced spaces for scientific research will be created in the new buildings, including centers for the study of artificial intelligence, information modeling, construction 3D printing, and automation. The commissioning of both blocks is scheduled for 2027. I am confident that the new infrastructure will become a powerful driver for the development of the entire construction industry,” said Marat Khusnullin.

Currently, construction is underway at two key sites. The area of Block “A” exceeds 36,000 sq. m. Monolithic structures and the erection of the metal framework have been completed here. In Block “B”, with an area of almost 33,000 sq. m, specialists are finishing facade work, carrying out interior finishing, and installing engineering systems.

“Blocks ‘A’ and ‘B’ are already connected by an above-ground passage, which was constructed by specialists from the ‘Unified Customer.’ Thanks to this solution, students and teachers will be able to move quickly and comfortably between the educational buildings without going outside. Our task is to create a modern educational space where all objects are functionally linked and provide the most convenient conditions for study and work. Implementing such solutions allows us to form an integrated, meticulously planned campus infrastructure,” said Karen Oganesyan, General Director of PPK ‘Unified Customer.’
