On the eve of National Unity Day, a master class “Flower of Friendship” will be held at Library No. 187.
Children will learn the history of the holiday and make a three-dimensional flower out of paper, where each petal will symbolize respect and good relations between people. The kids will learn to work with templates, choose colors, carefully cut out and assemble the craft. In the end, all the flowers will be combined into one large bouquet — as a symbol of unity.
In addition, during the lesson, participants will be able to share stories about their family traditions. The finished craft can be taken home.
