In the MosKino film park, subordinate to the capital Department of Culture, the update of the walking and recreation area around the live-action set ‘Ruined Castle’ has been completed. Decoration was created for the filming of the movie «Tickler». Here there is a Gothic castle, a watchtower, entrance gates, and other structures. Entry by tickets to the theme park.
The “Ruined Castle” has become part of the tourist infrastructure. Visitors can walk around, relax, and participate in cultural events. Paths have been laid around the castle, benches installed, and an amphitheater placed. They plan to hold lectures, organize creative meetings, and stage theatrical performances there.
A large stone sculpture was installed at the entrance, and next to it — two benches with high backs made of light-colored stone. The renovated area can be visited during tours of the film park.
The MosKino cinema park continues to develop as a multifunctional venue where the film industry and tourism complement each other.
The MosKino film park is part of Sergey Sobyanin’s project “Moscow — City of Cinema” and an element of the Moscow film cluster that develops the capital Department of Culture. There are eight shooting pavilions and 74 exterior and interior sets, including “Brest Fortress,” “Provincial Cities of Europe,” “Yuzovka,” “Mines,” “European City,” “Modern Moscow,” “Reichstag,” “Russian Medieval City,” “Cities of Eastern Europe,” and other locations.
The Moscow film cluster is the infrastructure facilities, services, and amenities for filmmakers, developed by Government of Moscow as part of the “Moscow — City of Cinema” project. Its structure includes the Moskino film park, the Gorky Film Studio (locations on Sergei Eisenstein Street and in Valdaysky Drive), the Moskino film factory, the Moskino cinema network, the Moscow Film Commission, and the Moscow Film Platform.
