Specialists urban infrastructure complex completed the construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline in the Voronovo area. The work was carried out as part of the development program for the gas supply system of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts (TiNAO). The new facility will become part of the network that will increase gas supply volumes to settlements and create conditions for further infrastructure development.
Construction and installation work had been carried out since March 2025. They are now fully completed, and the connection of the gas pipeline to the existing system is scheduled for 2027.
“The total length of the gas pipeline is almost eight kilometers. In addition to open laying, modern technical solutions were used: microtunneling and auger boring. Closed crossings were made at points of intersection with engineering communications, roads, and ravines. The work was carried out while preserving the existing infrastructure,” noted Mikhail Vdovin, CEO of JSC Mosgaz.
Domestic materials were used during construction. For example, the steel pipes are distinguished by their strength, durability, and resistance to environmental factors. In accordance with modern standards, the gas pipeline was equipped with shut-off devices with electric drives. They can be controlled remotely from the central dispatch office of JSC “Mosgaz.”
After the completion of the work, specialists carried out comprehensive landscaping of the area. They planted trees and shrubs. The plants were selected taking into account the characteristics of the climate and locality. Thus, the development of Moscow’s gas infrastructure is carried out with minimal impact on the environment.
The city management complex noted that the projects being implemented in Moscow for the modernization and enhancement of the reliability of communal infrastructure are in line with the goals and objectives of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
